On May 17, our associate Angel Chavarr\u00eda participated in the 9th Meeting of Sports Law organized by LaLiga Foundation, addressing the interesting issue of equality plans in the world of soccer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation had a practical component to help clubs in the mandatory development of these plans. Our firm believes that gender inequality in soccer clubs should be analyzed in differentiated qualitative spheres; on the one hand, analyzing the structure and functional organization of the club and on the other, the sporting sphere; this independent analysis of both spheres will allow us to obtain information on the causes that originate inequality and to propose actions aimed at fighting inequality within a predominantly masculinized industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As an interesting point, the difficulties posed by the transgender collective in the sports sphere and the regulatory challenge it poses for the future were anticipated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
