SFA participates in the FIFA Executive Player Programme
Our partners Julio Senn and Eduardo Montejo have participated in the FIFA Executive Player Program, both teaching classes in the Finance block and, specifically, Eduardo in a session on international taxation and the most relevant aspects from the tax point of view that affect a player and Julio, in a session on the financial and asset analysis of players during their professional life, emphasizing key aspects to take into account during it.
The program aims to empower the next generation of football leaders by creating role models for future generations and placing more players and coaches in positions of responsibility. The course seeks to enable professional footballers to make a seamless transition from playing to retirement, thereby avoiding the common challenges faced by elite athletes at the end of their careers, both from a financial and personal and lifestyle perspective.
