Andres Etienne Salinas is a Senior Associate at Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment Mexico S.C. since 2021 and he is specialized in sports and entertainment law at both national and international level, particularly in matters related to (a) disputes resolution before any jurisdictional bodies and arbitration tribunals, and (b) advising (i) clubs, sports entities, athletes and agents regarding contracts and transfers, and (ii) artists regarding their image and provision of services in series, films and commercials.

He began his professional career as a litigation lawyer in one of the leading law firms in Mexico, García Alcocer y Asociados, S.C., and later joined one of the most important companies in the cement industry worldwide, Thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions México, S.A. de C.V.

He was part of Bichara e Motta Advogados in Brazil and Senn, Ferrero, Asociados Sports & Entertainment, S.L.P.  in Spain, where he completed professional internships in sports law to finally join our office in Mexico as a full-time associate.

Throughout his career he has participated in the negotiation, review and drafting of sports employment and transfer contracts, image rights and sponsorship, as well as representation and advice to professional football players, coaches, agents and clubs in contentious and arbitration proceedings before the Mexican Federation of Association Football (FMF), the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (TAS/CAS), in addition to providing recurring legal assistance to various professional soccer clubs, athletes, agents, coaches and artists.
