SFA takes part in the ICAD International Conference, which examined the main legal and practical issues arising from the reform of the FIFA RSTP.

On 12 August 2026, the Instituto de Ciencias Aplicadas al Deporte (ICAD – Institute of Applied Sports Sciences) presented “El Reglamento de Transferencias FIFA 2027: Comentarios Prácticos” (The FIFA Transfer Regulations 2027: Practical Commentary), a reference work that is one of the first international training initiatives devoted to analysing this landmark reform of the FIFA transfer system.

The conference, which featured renowned Sports Law professionals, included a presentation by Juan Prieto on the impact of the reform on the legal position of coaches, a chapter he co-authored with Javier Ferrero.
